I was completely surprised that that arsehole was even still on the air. Everything is stupid.

Aren't they mostly Catholic? So yeah, that checks out.

'Live action' remakes of animated classics, or any remake of an already good film.

Remake the ones that had potential. but failed in the execution.

I watched Trailer Park Boys on a recommendation from a co-worker many years ago. I'll have to look up FUBAR. I espouse the joys of Letterkenny to anyone that will listen. I'm the wrong person to ask about what Australians in general watch, though. They all seem to only watch the likes of Married At First Sight and Master Chef. Ugh. I've always kinda just gone my own way.

OMG, I can't believe no-one's mentioned BeamNG.drive. The stuff that game simulates is off the charts. It's been in 'early access' forever, but if you're even remotely interested in driving simulators, it's the gold standard for a realistic driving experience. Crashing in VR in this game is the most visceral thing ever. It'll change you.

Here's a clip of me driving a RHD Piccolina around one of my local roads a kindly modder added to the sim until I crash catastrophically.

For example, here's a clip of me driving a Ferrari 32PB around Targa Florio from dawn to dusk. Almost everything in this clip is a mod.

Motor Town is amazing from such a small team. Great force feedback and VR support as well.

It's so good in VR. I call it a rubbernecking simulator. You're missing most of the game without it imo. I spend most of my time looking out the windows at the views.

I bought that game just because I watched the Noclip documentary series on the developers. I haven't played it yet, and I'm not sure I ever will, but goddammit I love those two men.

Lovely little ditty from a local band. The Valley is in reference to Fortitude Valley, a popular nightspot, which, in classic Brisbane naming tradition, is at the top of a hill. See also : the George Bridges Tunnel.

There's no such thing as a typical DSO song. Every track is it's own thing, and they'll even switch styles mid-song. Amazing band. I encourage you to listen to their entire discograhpy. It's quite a ride.

I think there's something in this for all of us.

These lads from Melbourne just came up on my discover queue. Catchy as hell, hilarious, and very, very Australian.

Found these guys recently and they've just dropped a new album.

From Bad Eggs. An old Australian comedy starring Mick Molloy and Bob Franklin. This scene always has me in tears.
