The budget bill signed Monday by Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine includes language that escalates the state’s anti-transgender position, formally setting as state policy that only two sexes: male and female, are recognized.

“These sexes are not changeable and are grounded in fundamental and incontrovertible reality,” the budget language says.

"We also have a lot of bad people that have been here for a long time," he said. "Some of them were born in our country. I think we ought to get them the hell out of here too, if you want to know the truth. So maybe that'll be the next job."
