I thought the main difference was police generally don't have guns in the UK. Has this changed?

People being able to do things that don't effect me in any way is a direct personal attack on me.

What adblocker are you using? I'm also in Austria but haven't got it

And who do you think will bother to sit through a meeting without tea or coffee to even discuss such a bill?

Are you suggesting that politicians follow the laws they put in place?

How to introduce ads to the current premium tier without having everyone complain and leave

Step 1 - Introduce a new paid tier that's cheaper, has all the premium features, but still has ads

Step 2 - wait a few months

Step 3 - increase all prices so that new "cheaper" tier is the same price as the current premium tier

I use Firefox on PC and I'm happy with it there. But on my phone Firefox isn't great. Scrolling and zooming is pretty choppy, not excessively but it shouldn't be choppy at all.

Edit: after posting this I tried using Firefox again for a while. I take back the "excessively" part. It is distractingly slow, there's no reason for it to be that bad

It works great for me. There are compatibility issues that force me on Edge sometime

Sounds like it doesn't work great

this guy just wants to help you replace parts of your phone instead of your whole phone

I don't see the issue

[-] Baketime@kbin.social 4 points 1 year ago

It's something that's already been done in many devices. Many old devices too. What do you think the issue will be?

Yeah I'm confused about this. I did't think this was particularly controversial, regardless of if you did or didn't support him. Protestors were removed, he did his photo op and went back.

The part that's controversial is if people think it was justified or not. But proof it happened is as useful as proof that the sun rose over Colombia yesterday.
