My greatest joy in life is learning new things. I have never, ever had coffee. I've never been interested. Just simply never cared for it.

Just keep in mind that installing an app via the respective app stores (just install, not custom settings) is often the limit of what people can, and are willing to do.

People just simply don't have the time, willpower and/or knowledge to get a controlled LAN working. It's similar to how you don't expect everyone being able to fly a helicopter, or build a car from scratch.

It is. From my experience a couple months back its crisp. Not the highest graphics, and it took a little getting used to from a high-end PC, but it was really nice. In certain aspects even preferable xD

To clarify, as youve not understood the joke, nor read the comments. As far as I understand it, were you to start sailing at the first point, you never have to turn to arrive at the second. That's why it's "straight". On the 2d plane you are completely correct however.

For proper and better informed explanations read the other comments :D

He has though. Its just not on his main channel. I think his podcast is still up and running, and although I haven't checked it lately the mailing service may be as well

Point one: I'm pretty certain they already track that. With or without account. And you're on the internet, without a VPN there is no privacy. You are also able to remove that history any moment you want. Is it Ideal? No. But you should've acted 10-15 years prior if you wanted to stop this. It's still not ideal though.

Point two: I agree. There does need to be space for them to repent, but they aren't actively trying to, so don't trust them (see the next point as an example of that).

Point three That's a shame. They really need to fix that, though with how corpos do things nowadays, not sure that'll happen.

Point four: That's normal, expected and a reasonable business decision. Most of these features they likely added after premium, and they're meant as incentives. Why else would you want to but their premium, if not for the added features?

Point five: This is shitty and mostly inexcusable behaviour. It's god awful, and they really shouldn't do it. I do have to play devil's advocate a little. They are fully, 100% in their right to do this. If you don't like it, vote with your wallet (and time). If we stop using their services, they'll stop making it worse. They are still A-holes for doing it though.

How about just slipperyness? The fact that you can't farm and thus have no reliable food source? The fact your water souce disappears?

I'll admit, no method of measurement is perfect as biomes changes too drastically. This doesn't mean Fahrenheit is better though. It's not more intuitive, it's not better at actual measurements, and it's not as accepted by society ('cause people way smarter than me did find Fahrenheit worse than Celcius (see any above high school science/engineering))

Does that even matter? It's be worse if it was real. In many, many ways...

I tried reading them. I can't because the fucking website doesn't scale to my phone. It realises something should change, but it's so shitty I can immediately see the edges and see text, images and flair cross over where it shouldn't. Ffs.

A new low? Ever heard of Skyrim? I guess it is a new low for rockstar, but Bethesda's been doing this successfully for far, far too long.
