Happily, thank you for not forcing a subscription model!

HAIL, MY BOOST BRETHREN!
Yeah I used boost, paid for premium and used it for years. Will be more than happy to do so again once it's out but I'm not into this subscribing to an app bullshit. Let me pay for it outright. I am not down to rent apps any more than I am okay with renting the phone it runs on.
$16 a year is not nothing, it's a subscription service for a basic mobile app with quality options in a competing space. A one time purchase that means I own the app outright or a lifetime "subscription" option is a much better option, and on par with literally every competing app in the space. Mentalities like this are why shit like NBA 2K, Call of Duty, and Diablo have become lootbox fests.
Highly recommend thunder or Connect as well if you aren't satisfied with liftoff. I've used all (I think?) The android apps and those two go back and forth for my favorite. Thunder looks slickest but connect is the most stable and easy to navigate imo.
I'm using Sync right now and honestly it's not much better than thunder or Connect which are free. The UI is slicker, but I feel my phone heating as it runs, and it's obnoxious seeing the gray boxes from the ads I'm blocking. Really hope boost doesn't pull this shit, or at least allows people to play for premium instead of fucking subscribing to it. $16 a YEAR for an app that just mobilizes a free online service is insanity.
I never used sync previously, but this has made a pretty bad first impression so far.
I have family that works in visual effects and have worked on a lot of reality shows. To say shoes are scripted is putting it ridiculously mildly. Entire episode runs are planned out, meticulously. Almost nothing is left to chance/genuine.
I'm just here to say I fuckin love my wife. She's my absolute favorite person in the entire world. So...I'm okay I think!
As a breville owner of three years that hasn't had a problem this list simultaneously worries and relieves me.
I think you're the one that just wants me to "stfu" but you don't want to say it directly.
Yes, that would be great. Stfu. Please. Thank you.
You don't have to listen, you don't have to be here for any of the conversations.
You seem to have missed the extreme irony in saying this whole replying to a sub comment a week after it was posted by someone who agreed with me.
The post is a week old, but regardless, people have had their time to grieve and process. Your friends and family were there for you, they let you vent, they helped you make the transition away from your partner...but they're gone. It's time to move on. Let it go. You're stuck in denial while most people have made it all the way to acceptance. Everyone is ready for you to stfu about your ex.
You're also reading too much into the analogy. This isn't really an ex, it's a link aggregating website and online forum. Just like nobody cared if you deleted your myspace, your Facebook, digg, Tumblr, TikTok, YouTube, etc...nobody really cares that you deleted your reddit account.
Dude I knew Sync had fanboys but the shit I have seen today is absolute insanity.
