This is exactly it. Instead of focusing on refining and renewing their products, Tesla burned billions on self-driving, while simultaneously hamstringing themselves by removing radar and lidar. That’s before the cybertruck and roadster 2 interfered.

Lucid, from what I can tell, has done this work. Their new motors are the size of a carryon. The interior volume is enormous. That’s what the flagships should be like at Tesla, but they screwed up.

I wonder if it’ll handle e-cores better than Task Manager.

Overall, it’s reporting 20% CPU usage. But all P-cores are pinned at 100%. E-cores idle. Of course I’m not CPU bound, I don’t need a better laptop, don’t be silly! And that’s just a Teams call. Fuck teams.

Knowing that Tesla had a market cap exceeding GM and Toyota and all the other manufacturers and a PE ratio beyond belief, the smart ones were selling as soon as it vests.

The minister in charge of Nova Scotia's civil service said Tuesday a bill that would allow the province to get rid of non-union government employees without cause will proceed unchanged.

Emphasis mine.

Join a union.

What if there was a way for everyone’s body to know about measles, without actually getting measles.

That would be pretty cool huh?

That’s odd, because I’ve seen more than a few charts saying yoy sales are up, except for Tesla.

The domestic manufacturers struggled for decades against the Japanese manufacturers, and they continue to lag behind in quality and finish. The Chinese will destroy them, as long as they don’t try to go too cheap and do something like faking the safety tests etc.

Maybe bombardier should have made a credible proposal to build a jet in Canada, instead of whining about it after the fact.

Metals and glass are highly recyclable but you’re right to question coatings. Dyes in the glass make it a challenge as well; green, clear, and brown glass are relatively common and sortable. Some areas sort their glass this way. The unpredictability of the chemical composition of the glass means it’s not made into the “same thing”, but moves down a grade. Like paper - the brown paper towels are a downgrade from the original product that was recycled to make them.

Aluminium cans are highly recyclable but if they’re shrink wrapped or have a label it can make it not worthwhile. https://www.aluminum.org/news/aluminum-container-design-guide-outlines-four-keys-circular-recycling

Metals like steel are also recyclable but the value does drop off because it’s not really possible to ascertain the grade or alloy or type of metal with high degree of certainty. Fortunately there’s plenty of applications for metals in that category.

Lead from car batteries is almost entirely recoverable.

This sounds a little bit like sovcit noise.
