At first sight you may thinking the show is about "individual" hacker taking down corporate but once you understand it has longer lasting effect especially when you relate/something similar with Elliot. The cinematography, the score is chef kiss👌🏻, Season 2 slow burns on the first half but worth to not miss them.

The magical thing is this show on rewatch make more sense and definitely Sam Esmail planned everything from get go on writing.

I used localsend on desktop, laptop and my phones to sync stuffs between OSes and phones. What I likes is that it support multiplatform out of the box and works flawlessly between Windows, Android and Linux distros (tried both on Ubuntu, and LM without problem). It's just SHAREit without any stupid weird stuffs on it.

I'm pretty sure most of people who mainly use discord as their main social apps probably never touched forum-based internet.

Hosting your own forum is also better as you (the owner of the site) can still retrieve the msgs as long as you still have the access to the host server (so you can back them up in case shutting down, then going to resurfacing later).

Not to mention using discord is already risking yourself because of their shitty policy.

As someone who mostly lurking back in reddit, lemmy sort of forces me to engage (give back) in community. While at first I felt weird, it grow on me to contribute for discussion and hopefully I can start my own post in a community lol.

Imo this kind stuff probably because these "dev" having safe space on those discord servers rather than using something properly setup site/forum.

Heck you can make your own documentation using github/gitlab built in wiki or if you want something fancier, setup a site using JAMstack/static site generator, pick suitable theme then use gh page to host it.

Rockstar historically always have delayed pc port, and issues on launch for their pc release. Maybe 2026 is more on reality (gta 4 pc port is released in less than a year, and it was the worst performing gta on pc iirc).

I'm more interested of how much satire, sarcasm, irony and parody they bring into gta 6. Not really care about graphics since whats shaping up gta is the satirical of the world especially usa.

If they still keep those in check on release, rockstar still had the balls.
