Slapping that ™®© on it and raising the price.
I'm not quite 5'8, and I was in the Marines, where obviously size was made to be something, especially in the infantry, but I always used to just tell dudes that I'm harder to shoot, and in the unlikely event they get me before you, I'm easier to carry to safety. Fucking win-win as far as I'm concerned.
And with those days long behind me, and married with a short wife and hort kids of my own, I'm the biggest thing in the world to them. So just find an equally short person to spend your life with. Or don't, nothing matter!
It's funny, because the movie managed to bridge the chasm that is American puritanism. They threw boobs in a PG13 movie and parents were like you gotta see this shit child. It was an impressive feat.
I saw The Monkey recently, and I feel it fits the bill here a bit. It's weird, it's cheesy at times, it's got a very eclectic choice of scares and whatnot. It's not serious, at all. But it's also not at all a bad movie, it's got a very respectable 77 on the tomatometer, a source I used to trust implicitly, despite having gone to shit probably five or more years ago at this point.
I think that horror lets itself benefit from some cheese in a way that no other genre can benefit from, and in there we get the whole "bad movie" vibe sometimes. I'm not remotely a massive horror fan, because I've known some and my fandom doesn't hold a candle to theirs, but I enjoy the genre, and it's a very dense genre, with so many ways to tell what is ostensibly the same story: something to "scare" the viewer.
I liked it because it was unique. I think Horror benefits from just being a different way to present the story. Barbarian recently did that for me, and anytime a horror movie gets me to say, "Hey, I'd dint expect that," that's a good thing.
I dunno, I hadn't heard of it, looked it up on Google, and it specifically and only says horror. Not a horror comedy or anything. But I haven't seen it so I dunno.
Movies are trending toward being longer now though, genre be damned. I remember I used to think, damn, movies are too short. And now I find myself more often saying, damn, movies are too long.
The Greasy Strangler?!
I'm fortunate that a lot of stuff is east of me, and that leaving my house and going east on the nearby highway there's a gas station right there.
But on that off chance I have to go north, I'm screwed. And those are the days I leave it for tomorrow.
But America bad, remember? Can you believe America, taking a long time to elect officials?
Yeah, this seems like inexperienced people for playing via text, and I don't mean that as a shot at either. Gotta get experience sometime. Definitely worth making a joke about it, but maybe after the fact.
Some credit to JD Vance, the two dudes on the outsides absolutely look like you put a 13 year old's face on a fat, tall 13-year-old body.
I would've tossed in one baby carrot, to make sure it ripped 2.5 on the scale.
