Capicola is the ultimate NJ shibboleth. I love it .

Love the idea. Wish there was some bat signal to rally people. I know myself and many other like-minded former servicemembers who are always down to get down for the right thing.

I've thought of this so many times. I'm fact, I've thought about a spring-loaded seat hinge that raises the seat unless there's a person upon it. If the seat is always up, it is much less likely to be urinated upon. It takes the work completely out of the hands of the user.

It wouldn't benefit the rest of the world. If your country has a business that makes anything, the US buys it. Europe and the US did half a trillion in business in 2024. A destabilized US hurts just about everyone. Makes you think it's worth a hard look at who it doesn't hurt, and I don't just mean nations, but I diciduals and corporations.

The meddling is foreign and domestic and it comes from $$$$$$$.

September is, like, the nicest month weatherwise. There's gotta be a meeting place for OP and the wasps somewhere in the middle.

I have little to no background in IT or CS, but I always wanted to set up networks with those Ubiquiti antennas that can broadcast out a few kilometers. I got a buddy who just happens to be a few kilometers away. We could set up our own private, albeit incredibly limited, internet. Outside of that, if you're using a utility or a service, you can't expect your info to be locked up right. And so you need to keep certain shit offline, or use a HAM radio, or some other kind of private network for broadcasting, which is not feasible. But it would be neat.

Could always have a really long string with cans on either end. Can't tap that phone.

I use Google suite. Use it for work stuff, general bullshit. Works great. None of the data going over it is of particular import (to me).

There are things that I believe require a better handling, and they're handled differently, all the way up to physical media.

It just might be naive, in this day and age, to think a company won't cooperate with authorities. Yes, there are exceptions, but they either fear repercussions or they were never built well enough to keep authorities out in the first place.

Unfortunately I don't have a receipt in my email for it because I bought it at MicroCenter, got a really good deal on it. So I can't remember what gen. I think I just need to enable the TPM thingy in the bios, but that it was specifically the processor that was the issue. All this is beyond me, I'm in following instructions mode and not inherent knowledge mode.

A buddy of mine has the same, we bought them together, so I know it'll work, I just need to do the work.

That's still pretty good. Waking up and knowing that the day is lost and you may as well go back to sleep would be wonderful.

Yeah, that's why I played inverted for the longest time. Took a break from gaming for a bit and have since switched to standard.

Second single coming off what's presumably a new album coming. Everything these guys put out is great. When I first heard them, I said they scratched the ETID itch for me, and this single continues to do so.

First song I heard from these dudes, and they have a very unique take on Metalcore. Almost a dash of singer-songwriter in there. They've got other tunes that also have a unique electronic flair, but I'd love to hear more like this.

A technical disaster, but sure, I'll keep coming back. Can't wait to reminisce about the days when it was a technical disaster, though.

Also, posted from my PC, because doing anything on Jerboa has proven impossible.

Love to see it, and I want to see more of it. Anyone who did this absolutely deserves what they have coming to them.
