One in one out will not really keep the reform lot at bay they think of illegal immigrants and asylum seekers the same way. All this does is put immigration back into the news cycle for Nigel to get more air time staring at boats in Dover

I know Americans love Jesus a whole lot but really only 4%. That just seems crazy low

Yeah same. The way I think about federation is in a kind of per “product” approach. That’s a piece of software can be run by anyone and all communicate and work as a whole is the main benefit. Cross compatibility between “products”/software is just an added bonus, but not necessary

I treat any meme with vertical and horizontal lines close together as “loss” until proven otherwise

For the people buying it, the product itself doesn’t matter. It’s got Trump’s name on it and the money they spend goes to him, so he can “own the libs”

It’s cheaper, and quicker to set up is probabaly why. In theory once this is established, you can then add in the overhead and bigger trams if needed.

Knowing RyanAir they’ll treat it like an extra. Taking too long to put your bag away, unruly, fine. Going to the toilet more than once, abhorrent, fine.

I went on sky to calculate how much it would actually cost me for all sports packages and it was something like £85 a month. Considering you can pay £60 a year and get all games (including 3pm kickoff) it’s a no brainier really.

Especially as there’s no competition. At least then they couldn’t just put up bills to cover it as you’d just switch, like energy.

I’m not into model trains so I don’t know if this is right but £550 seems a bit steep. Is this normal?

So I’m walking to an evening class at a local college, it’s dark. There’s a bend just before the junction and as I’m walking across a car comes round way too fast. I had to step back to avoid being hit. I was wearing gloves and as it went past I hit it, no idea why, just instinct and anger.

I carry on walking and I see the driver has pulled over a bit down the road, I was expecting a “sorry are you ok” but she instead shouted “did you just hit my car?”. That set me off, shouting at her that she almost fucking ran me over. Then she says “you don’t have to use that kind of language”, the fucking nerve.

Gave up and just walked off. Wish I’d have smashed the wing mirror or keyed the car or something.

Has anyone else almost been run over and how do you deal with the anger of it?

I live in the Uk and fancied a holiday just going around Great Britain for a week by train and saw this was an option.

Just wondering if anyone has used it and was it worth the price vs booking each trip in advance.

Hate how the BBC always use passive voice for car crashes. No mention that a driver is at fault.

The Conservatives in Wales lose their last ditch attempt to stop the speed limit change from 30mph to 20mph. The change will be coming into force on the 17th September
