Let's preface this, I'm no astrophysicist. but from my understanding:

That's just the thing, different speed observers do not agree on when things happen, or even the shape of the universe. The faster you go the more the universe compresses in front of you, making distances shorter from your frame of reference.

From the photons perspective it instantly moves through an infinitesimally thin sheet of universe. Everything that "happens around it" from our frame of reference all instantly happens at once if you ask the photon.

Here's a really good explanation from someone far smarter than me https://youtu.be/-NN_m2yKAAk

but the protocol is slow. with high speed usb and fast polling rates, even though ps/2 starts sending instantly, usb will often have had time to poll and send its whole packet before ps/2 has finished sending.

It was great, the reveal leaves a bunch of loose ends though. I wonder if that is by design, it might pop up in the next season.

I think you're missing the joke, this is not for the kid...

I assumed a firehose per area the size of a firehose edit: some quick googling says a 6cm firehose dumps about a cubic meter per minute, which works out to 500 meters of water per minute if we measured it like we measure rain.

30ft per hour is about ten meters per hour.

Yeah, no I would not say that is like a firehose.

Being pro something you are against does not break the "be respectful" rule.

You really shouldn't go around trying to silence people with different opinions than you.

They all do that anyway. There is no such thing as a trained pet hippo.

The technical debt is strong in this one

Their theoretical energy density are half of what lithium achieves. While their price and ecology probably makes sense in some cases, good luck marketing an ev with half the range, or a cellphone that lasts half a day.
