how much censoring do they do? Lemmy and reddit are very censorship-happy.

there are almost no frontends left working. i had to chase them to see what worked. LibRedirect has no way to flag when some don't, thus removing those?

and the USA and EU would never try to influence Poland, right? We like to think that "misinformation" is simply lies or lies-by-omission, but nearly every country does it...and probably every political party, every politician, and manyyyy individual who are not in government and not lawyers.

me, too, but it only allows 2GB. If you plan to encrypt it for when you aren't needing it, then you can only use half that as encryption doubles files. I've been wondering if Owncloud, NC's close cousin, has a free account, too. I could use Owncloud for images, I guess.

? Even the USA often ignores their Constitution.

they make us fight and fight and fight until we are haggard and have no more fight in us. i hate them. Having others trying to control the group is natural. Accepting it without fighting back seems unnatural. Even wolf packs have been known to eliminate a mean-spirited leader.

One of my old dentists told that that I could not have my own paid-for x-rays and my do's vet told me the same. So, I had to repay to get new ones and expose the body to my radiation. I avoid "experts" now. The feeling of being ripped off and disrespected makes me feel the need for another expert - A SHRINK!

depends on the context. people telling socially-acceptable lies get treated far better than those telling unpleasant truths.

so you have the ultra-cheap Mullvad service and it is fast enough for you? This is the same one where I can send in cash to Mullvad to pay - umm, the super-anonymous Mullvad VPN?

On a high quality flash drive, it will be decent. or, you can do the cheaper, more convenient way by installing Oracle's free VirtualBox program and testing a bunch of distros. Be sure to try out as much of the software that a distro comes with as you can even if you dislike the distro itself. And, makes notes of the themes you like. I'd think an external drive might be a convenient option that can be used at work, at home, while visting your family in Kentucky...But, VMs are the cheapest and there is even software to clone a VM into an iso after you've customized it how you want it, then load the .iso onto a driveshaft to permanently install on "bare metal".

The Germans chanting in unison about fascism is damned-near tear-jerkingly beautiful. This has spread to quite a few European countries - not just Germans, France, and the Netherlands.

At least 3,000 that died were on a feed lot. The short video I saw showed no trees or even bushes around and solid black angus cows that almost certainly were in over-crowded conditions standing in full sun all day. It pisses me off that the real scene of the crime(s) wasn't shown.

Do i simply install on top of a Debian server OS? Which .iso do I download/install?

I think even XFCE is rather bloated and have Debian XFCE on 2 other drives already, so will test out Debian stable nonfree with xfwm standalone. I have the names of the top 5 packages to add and will worry about the rest later. I am in no hurry to get this perfect yet. But, I would like to install the fundamentals tomorrow.
