@mattblaze@federate.social I had a really interesting answer from an exhibition curator last year who insisted that non-chemical photography simply isn't photography. While I don't agree he was at least coherent about it which made for an interesting perspective.

@mattblaze@federate.social I wish I'd done more street shooting during the Sydney lockdown in 2021, in the end I only had the one evening right at the end. Need to go back to that series and see what I might have missed.
@mattblaze@federate.social they do, but only started doing so a few months after launch
@mattblaze@federate.social yeah, the portability is really the only justification. It's a modern Hasselblad SWC, there is a market, but very small. I do expect I'll end up buying one once I own an IQ4
@mattblaze@federate.social it's smaller enough that it could fit in my normal day bag, and wideness solves the need for any shift
@mattblaze@federate.social you're really not helping the temptation to buy an XC
@mattblaze@federate.social I have the Mamiya 500mm which I modified to mount on an XF, have yet to use it beyond experiments. I don't take it with me, but the 300mm isn't too bad. I tend to stop with the 150mm (or occasionally a Zeiss 180mm if I really want a heavy manual setup)
