I use it daily to replace meetings and work with people in different time zones. Allows me to record my screen while I present whatever it is I need to share.

AFAIK, Reddit has a bunch of Chinese investors. Maybe they care?

Oh my bad, I must have missed that. I used mail without drive for the longest time and only just recently started using drive.

This is how Google solves it. Would be nice to have that integration between mail and drive.

I’m in a similar boat. I always disable this feature.

But I’m also pretty good at avoiding junk mail or unsubscribing from newsletters. So I guess I’m not the target user for such a feature.

That’s awesome, thanks! Good to know that this is going to be supported by Lemmy itself.

I’d like to limit my feed to a rolling 1 week window so that I don’t run into the same old posts at the “end” of my feed.

I browse my feed by “new” and usually scroll until I’m caught up. I notice that I’m caught up once the posts are a week old.

Instead of reading older posts, I’d love to just have a hard end to the feed where there are no more posts.

Not sure if this makes sense? Or if this is the correct channel for feature requests.

Big fan ❤️

I’m waiting for this. Keen to use humanitaire as it’s more minimal (iirc).

They don’t pay artists much though

This is amazing, I need to install this ASAP. Are you using it yourself?

Wonder if there’s some sort of resource to import great hikes from.

Don’t get GoreTex because it’s using PFAS chemicals which are harmful to the nature we’re out there to enjoy.

Very good gear and they don’t use chemicals harmful for the environment (such as Gore-Tex / PFAS).

Would be interesting to learn why they decided to discontinue Qwant Maps. I wonder if it’s a technological hurdle, a competitor issue or something else.

I’m still looking for a good Google/Apple Maps replacement with good UX and enough information about local businesses.

Since today I’m getting errors refreshing my Lemmy.ml feed. Tried a bunch of things, including logging out of my account, and now I can no longer login.

When I try to login and enter the lemmy.ml domain, I get a red error text saying “Failed to connect to lemmy.ml”.

Tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling from the Apple App Store. Didn’t work. Looked for updates, didn’t seem to be one.

I can access Lemmy.ml in the browser and my account seems to be fine as wel.

I can use Mlem to visit Lemmy.world just fine. Can even refresh the feed and browse posts.

Is it just me? Or anyone else with this issue?

I’m messing around with settings to make OsmAnd maps look similar to Google/Apple maps in terms of detail and colour scheme.

Any recommendations on how to achieve that?

Closest I got was a Microsoft Maps overlay style, but it’s somewhat blurry on iPhone.

Does anyone know if you can use Proton Calendar with the MacOS Calendar app?

I thought we could use the bridge for that. But it seems that bridge is only for mail.

I’m using Google Calendar for work and I’m trying to create one overview of both calendars. Was hoping MacOS Calendar app would be the solution.

Hey folks, I’m looking for an open source alternative to Endel. Endel is a “soundscape” app that I use for focused beats and white noise.

I found some free alternatives, but didn’t find any open source options. Wondering if you have any suggestions.

Thanks!
