I do agree cinnamon,mate and xfce us not enough but I found cinnamon the least buggy option.

I kinda agree because you need to allow permissions, it's more secure it's just annoying.

I can agree, my goal now is to find a distro that keeps some stuff updated not everything like kernel etc.

yes i did a os one but i am wondering what distros do you guys use and why,for me cachyos its fast,flexible,has aur(I loved how easy installing apps was) without tinkering.

So a few months back I asked about you guys os in c/asklemmy, so this time I wanna ask about your desktops you use on this same account.
(I use kde but plan to move to cinnamon I find kde buggy and gnome tracker3 randomly broke for no reason + themeing so yh idk if these happened to anybody)

hi ik wine can translate userspace calls but i wonder if its possible to translate windows kernel level calls to linux ones (eg,kernel level anticheat,etc)

Hi so I was wondering what gpu vendor had the best support intel, amd or nvidia In the future I wanna upgrade my mid range pc and I dual boot cachyos (arch btw) and windows 11 (to play game that don't work on linux)
