Why wouldn't you just buy an EV from a different brand? All the benefits you describe are of an EV, not a Tesla

I feel bad that as consumers at best we label all under Trump's banner, at worst we don't have the ability to punish only the red states like government tariffs can do

Yup, me too. By coincidence I've moved from us platform to an non-us one so that nice too.

The idea isn't to eliminate all spend, it's the low hanging fruit and then go from there. I'm seeing it as a game with badges to collect!!
