How do you mean teach?

Just getting them to use it or teaching them terminal commands?

I like it. If you don't mind exporting your bank transactions once a month and importing them then it should work just fine for you.

I assume some will say they don't want it to. I hope it does so more people are no longer giving money to giant social media companies, or being tracked by them.

HOA can pound sand when it comes to native wildflowers, at least where I live.

Honestly, podcasts on YouTube are better if you have sponsorblock

If you're willing to self host Nextcloud then that could be a solution.

Currently I use it to sync my calendar on my phone and an instance of MagicMirror2.

But now how will you see my post called "This is my final trump card" that I was going to post tomorrow? 😞

I actually did like pocketcasts better, but Antennapod isn't bad.

It's either that corporations/businesses aren't people and aren't given the same rights as people, or they are and do have the same rights.

Supreme court decided money donations are freedom of speech, and this applies to businesses as well, since they are considered "people".

As it stands right now Budweiser - or any other company - can support, or not support, anyone they want and none of us can do shit about it other than pressure them via voting with our dollar. Sometimes that works, sometimes it doesn't; most of the time it doesn't.

It's an uncanny instinct I had as soon as I booted it for the first time. Can't explain why, just did.
