Thanks, that's what I assumed. I'm hoping it'll be easy to switch to better specs in the cloud and still affordable, especially if it's easy to spin down the server on demand. We're usually playing "in bursts" of a few weeks..

Beruflich ebenfalls das bereits erwähnte Logseq. Anfangs noch mit Syncthing die private DB auf Android synced, aber mir braucht Logseq auf dem Android zu lange um zu starten, das muss schnell gehen. Beruflich ist Logseq absolut hammer!

Habe vorher schon für jedes Projekt eine markdown Datei geführt, dh für mich war der Umstieg einfach und super logisch. Das Journal Format ist großartig, ich schreib einfach drauf los wenn ich was notieren muss und pack hashtags ran. Falls was sehr roh ist oder eine gute Überschrift noch fehlt oder ich noch ran hängen möchte wer genau am meeting beteiligt war mach ich mit ctrl+enter ein "doing" tag ran, dann sieht man das im Journal am Ende vom aktuellen Eintrag. So tracke ich die Kleinigkeiten die man halt bis zum Ende vom Tag noch machen will. Klassischer usecase ist da wenn man im meeting zusagt jemandem noch ein PDF zu schicken, direkt in logseq "mail X PDF to #@/max.muster ctrl+enter" und zack ist das getracked. ich wechsel viel zwischen Projekten und notier mir inzwischen auch einfach in logseq unterm #arbeitszeit (schön kurz-prägnantes deutsches Wort) in Stichpunkten was ich für welches Projekt gemacht habe und Freitags schau ich dann was unter dem Hashtag verlinkt ist und trag es ins Zeiterfassungssystem nach. Genial.

Privat hatte ich auch erst logseq aber wie gesagt - startet mir einfach zu langsam. Und manche shortcuts fehlen mir am Smartphone dann einfach. Da verwende ich gerade Notion, jaja furchtbar zentral hosted und keine Ahnung, aber ist mir privat in dem Fall nicht so wichtig. Muss natürlich jeder selbst wissen. Da ist halt cool dass es eine API gibt, das ist alles sehr ausgereift. Man kann sich unheimlich custom Lösungen bauen.. Eine Sprachnachricht an einen Chatbot schicken der das mit Whisper transkribiert, per ChatGPT zusammenfasst und zu markdown formatiert und dir ins Notion journal packt? oder sogar an die am Beginn erwähnte collection anhängt? kein Problem! Das ist schon ganz geil.
