Sure, Proton Mail is great - I'm using it too. I don't need Unlimited for this though, just Mail Plus.
WTF? Why?
Me and my friends always thank each other after spending fun time together, how is it even controversial?
I have no idea how people use so much RAM. I use a 16 GB machine for work and it runs perfectly. For the majority of the time I'm well below 8GB. And I do use Electron apps.
Of course, I'm aware of the possible uses demanding more than 16 GB but I can't believe this would be the case for a majority of the people.
Well, I actually enjoy code review, and I enjoy it on both ends. I learned A LOT thanks to insightful review by my teammates. And I like to pass that knowledge on to juniors when reviewing their code.
WTF kind of drugs your dentist's give you? When I had my wisdom teeth removed I just got local anesthesia which made my mouth area numb and insensitive to pain for a few hours. I could literally drive home immediately after the procedure if I wanted to. Europe, for reference. Does this differ between the countries so much?
How are they pointless if they bring people joy? I know there are exceptions but I'm pretty sure people generally really like birthdays...
Is 600 MB a lot for pandas? Of course, CSV isn't really optimal but I would've sworn pandas happily works with gigabytes of data.
I mean, it's like a fucking drug. The learning curve is steep AF but past some point, when it starts making sense, it's just incredible. I'm currently moving my whole setup to NixOS and I'm in love.
I got recently diagnosed with autism and r/autism is the reason I started using Reddit again after more than a year. I would prefer using Lemmy for this but there's barely any activity in autism community on Lemmy. Yeah, I know, I should be the change I want to see. I promise I will try to post something there!
I'll stick with KeePassXC but I'm still very happy to see them remembering about Linux. I hope Drive will be next, this is something I'm really waiting for.
I can only use it as a laptop 1% of the time and it still makes perfect sense because otherwise I would have to own a separate device for this 1% of the time.
You're spot on. I still remember it from the time I was forced to eat it as a kid. Terrible.
