This post is pointing out that few men want to date 'older' women while men of all ages want to date younger women.

It's wild how discussing age and gender inequality in dating is considered misandry.

Peeing is also normal behavior. But it's not normal if you have to pee every 30 minutes.

What's with this new trend of invalidating ADHD and autism symptoms simply because you don't experience it to a degree that impacts your quality of life?

ADHD and autism don't have one specific symptom. It's a thousand little things that drive you insane from having to conform to neurotypical behavior.

Let patients share their experiences without normalizing and invalidating their condition.

It's always 'everyone has ADHD these days' just like how people day 'everyone is LGBTQ these days. It's never 'underserved and underdiagnosed ADHD patients are finally getting recognition these days'.

Boys are 16x more likely to get an ADHD diagnosis than girls. The vast majority of backlash against ADHD patients on social media are against women and PoC who are finally speaking out against the medical neglect. Women traditionally present different symptoms because girls are punished more heavily for exhibiting ADHD behaviors than boys are. Same goes for autism.

Remember that a lack of diagnosis does not indicate the lack of ADHD and autism. Modern medicine is rife with systemic inequality. Undiagnosed ADHD and autism patients are frequently penalized and not rewarding for concealing their symptoms. The more effort they put into concealing them, the more heavily criticized they are for 'faking' it.

The only thing fundamentally different about men's and women's emotions are how we've been conditioned to present them.

The idea that men have fundamentally different emotions is part of what fuels the male loneliness epidemic. Men are not any less in need of emotional support then women are, women are just socially conditioned from a young age that it is okay to give and receive it.

If you are a man, when was the last time you felt like you could talk about your feelings without being judged for it?

If a man wants to grieve, but is only taught that it is okay to show anger, then that is all that we will see no matter deeply in grief he may be. How one presents their emotions is not always how they feel, much like in autistic people.

But it is radical. Trans people face persecution in most parts of the world. We are the exception, and that's a great thing.

Be radical, even if you are the last person on earth to support trans rights. Not because it's the normal thing to do, but because it's the right thing to do.

Too soon for this meme format.

For those who don't know, the woman petting the fox committed suicide a few days ago. She had ran a fox rescue farm and saved 4000 foxes, many of which were rescued from being bred for fur in inhumane conditions.

She passed away after years of harassment and accusations of abuse for 'not doing enough'. Redditors were piling on her in a hate sub and that was one of the final nails in the coffin. People criticized her for not hiring more staff to help or expanding her operations.

This was her life's work. She was autistic, and funneled every bit of dedication into saving as many as she could. She had a special bond with her foxes and a way of speaking to them that brings out their giggles. Not everyone can do that, and with Mikaela's passing, her foxes will now have to make it through without her.

Of course the 145 police reports don't count. This is 145 women were talking about.

Funny how often childbirth is brought up to describe how much more painful something else is, usually by people who have never given births themselves.

Truly spoken like someone so privileged with good health they don't even know what a chronic disability is.

Imagine being this ignorant about chronic pain that you think it's a product of moral failure. Imagine thinking that doctors treat chronic pain sufferers like anything but drug seekers. Imagine picking up a prescription is so easy you never had to see your pharmacist give you a dirty look or even deny you medications because they think you don't 'look like you're in pain'.

Nothing makes us want to kill ourselves more than hearing the 'just diet and exercise duh' people pretend to know what a fraction of being in pain every living second is like.
