I think the Galaxy Tab A8 may be a good option. While I've only flashed a custom ROM, there are root guides at XDA.

I don't mind the lack of an unlockable bootloader, and I'm a happy customer. I've used my Zenfone 10 for about 3 months, will continue to use for at least 5 years.

You still cannot bootloader unlock and root the ASUS Zenfone 10 in c/android@lemdro.id

Rocking a Galaxy Book2 360. Can't adjust keyboard brightness, kernel parameter is needed for OLED backlight, and 3.5mm headphone jack doesn't work.
