Probably not exactly what you have in mind, but I'd still recommend The Reality Dysfunction (and the other two books in the Night's Dawn Trilogy) by Peter F Hamilton.
Most things by Snow Tha Product - start with 'Butter' or 'No Cap In My Captions'.
I wish you the very best, internet stranger. Be yourself.
In the 70s we had a cassette tape kids story about a wizard who lived in a mountain and kept all the winds in a box.
The story was about someone who went in and retrieved the winds.
It involved blowing up sections of passageways (the narrator talked of lighting the blue touchpaper), and the wizard woke up and chased the hero.
He had a walking stick so his steps were reproduced including that, and he was calling, "My wind! Somebody's stolen my wind!".
I think it was probably on the front of a magazine or something. I don't know if it's a traditional story or something written for that production but I thought it was brilliant at the time.
I've found Summit the best for me, personally, on Android. I've been able to configure it closest to how I used RIF which is what I wanted.
Nothingness for general anaesthesia. Sedation for dental work was awesome: IV midazolam. Off to sleep just like GA but woke up at some point, super happy and relaxed. Waking up was like a long sleep. I loved it so much I asked if I could come in again for that without the operation. Turns out, no, that's not a thing. Shame.
And sugar. Off topic a bit, but my addiction is sugar and some reminders might make the occasional difference.
Openboard with swipe has fixed this for me. Takes a little getting used to but worth it IMO.
For me, they're too fat when folded and too big when open. I don't like the feeling of the crease, and the technology needs time to prove how reliable it'll be in the real world.
Connect, Jerboa, Voyager and Summit.
My favourite at the moment is Summit. It preloads images so feels snappier, and has a layout option of thumbnails on the right which I prefer.
I'd like to be able to turn off the swipe actions, my thumbs like to drift when I tap so that UX isn't optimal for me.~~ It's also not possible (that I've found) to change sort order.~~
I flick between apps, all the above are rapidly improving!
Step up in this motherfucker just a-swingin' my hair.
