If he was food motivated to teach with, sure 😁

I usually set out options and give the command to eat. I'm getting better at guessing which food he wants though.

My dog is the pickiest eater I know. The problem I have is that it is never consistent. One day nothing is good enough, another he ignores steak for kibble, the next is a cat food day, then all of a sudden it is time for steak!

He has the forbidden knowledge that you can crave certain food at the moment, but he has no way to tell be what exactly he wants haha.

Every night he is given sargento and babybel. Same deal. Same for boarshead or tilamuc and all the others. Just didn't want to waste expensive cheese for the photo when I already knew the result. :)

Several teams of vets have done tons of tests and still have no clue .

Some days he eats any of these meals. Other days he eats normal dog kibble. Some days he refuses to eat.

He is offended. Cheese is only to be eaten at bed time. His rule, not ours.

The food is always offered and the command to eat given. He has not been told not to eat it.

He eventually eats about 50% of food offered. Every meal is random on if he will eventually eat it. Some days he will eat kibble and ignore a steak... Lol

He does that with kibble. I cut his meat into pieces so he doesn't pull a chunk on to the floor to hold it down while he rips pieces off.

For chunks of meat and other small food items, he will delicately eat them. Bigger items like vegetable Tempura, he will peel the tempura off and eat little pieces at a time until the tempura is gone. Then he eats the veggie. Watching him deconstruct a quesadilla to eat it ingredients by ingredient is hilarious. 5 minute ordeal for a single slice.

Favorite game is to kick around an empty food bowl. Had to train him to use a Frisbee as a replacement so he would stop dumping his kibble on the ground.

A bowl of kibble is always left at this table. Some days he wants kibble, some days it is human food, and most days he doesn't want to eat anything at all.
