According to the article it was a single woman doing the search. The real issue was the camera in the room sending footage to the lobby. But the Hijab being removed is a must when searching for contraband.

Hamas could let their people South and no one gets hurt. If Israel lets Palestinians across the border into Israel, Hamas will sneak in with them and kill lots of Israelis. Can you not see the difference?

The internet on its own is not a solution given anyone can make a website and say whatever they want on it.

I was arguing with a guy here on Lemmy who though nationalpriorities.com was a more reliable source of information than Wikipedia.

People need to be taught how to use the internet, how to find sources for the information and filter out lies and falsehoods. That takes a good education, which many people lack.

The US healthcare industry massively over charges for everything, so they are skimming in plain sight.

Doesn't change that only 13% goes to the DoD, where a fraction may be used to blow up hospitals. Not 66% as the previous poster implied.
