So I recently-ish upload ST: Deep Space 9 into my Jellyfin (kind of love falling asleep watching it) and some episodes are doubled.

For example in season 4 Jellyfin fetched the metadata for the episode 9 (our men Bashir) and put it on the episode 9 and 10. Now after 10 the episodes are sync on the one before them. It slightly annoying.

I checked the naming convention for the file, seems in order. Tried to refresh the metadata, to no avail. Reboot the server, didn’t work. Only permit Jellyfin to fetch metadata from IMDB, nope

I’m at lost, any idea ?

Edit : what worked was putting [imdbid-ttXXXXX] in the problematic files name and refreshing all the metadata for the folder, in my case all the series

A 10 year old can only date 12 year old and older. I don’t make the rules

There’s no antimemetics division was the one I was thinking, thanks

So I’ve leaned of SCP a while back but start to look into it recently. I’ve read the memetic warfare/deadly idea stories (don’t remember the exact name) and quite liked it. So if you have suggestions I’ll take them!

The 3rd season of The Wire try to explain that

For the case of Danemark I don’t know I’m not Dane and don’t know their political landscape.

I’ll can talk about Vancouver a little, in the first decade of the 2000 the gov (mayor office ?) gave its ok to stop prosecuting and arresting people who take drug (not selling it). They stop financing « criminalizing tactics » and for a while it work however as the years pass (and as I understand it) they slowly reverse track. Now they’re saying there is an epidemic and people are smoking crack on the streets unbother by the police (who seems to use this new problem to ask for more money from the city).

Don’t get me wrong I think that decriminalizing is the only way and prosecuting a « 1 consenting-ish victim crime » take a lot of time for nothing. What you need is service and specialized help.

Where I live : 0%. There were one near my college only working in summer. There’s some in malls but they tend to be phased out when they rebuild/redesign the mall. However I’ve gone to Vancouver this year and there was a fountains at every two or three buildings in some posh quarter working all year round. Very weird for me

Justin still authorized the RCMP to deploy against BC First Nations for the profit of logging companies, still deployed special force to Haiti and a bunch of African countries to secure extracting rights for the Miner Companies. Don’t get me wrong he was a left leaning Federal Liberal but still a Liberal. If someone had pitch him a sure way to use quantum computing (developed by Canadian universities) to implement facial recognition on a grand scale he would have done it

As I hate Justin Trudeau for his political position and what it did back when he was PM, this was a master stroke. President, PM and what not should be at least a little knowledgeable if we want them to make policies about it. Now we have a bunch wanker banker pocket fill with big tech money spuing shit about AI not understanding a words of what they are saying make policies that knowledgeable people see only at little bit more into the ~~police~~ facist state

Hate the series so you’re not alone but I don’t have a problem with the cinematography even if I only find it ok

Christian Bale playing a Brit Rock journalist stuck in life he hate go to find why a 70s pop idol staged its own death

Also Ewan McGregor dick’s at the 30min mark

I asked on the bushcraft instance but it’s been one week and I have no answer

Does someone here have bought BPS Knives (more specifically the Finn Lite) and how were they ?

I was with friend in the suburb so it was really « controlled environment » after my initial success, we tried different crazy technics to start a feathers stick (like making the stick with an axe)

One of my friend really look foward to buying its first bushcraft knife which throw me down the rabbit hole once again. Now I’ve found BPS knives, which is a name I know from my r/bushcraft lurking, and their Finn Lite. Who look, frankly, awesome

Is there, in this fediverse, someone that bought one ?
