How would that even come up in conversation? Or how would the people around you know?

Thank you for all your hard work!

I'm looking for manufacturers of different kinds of paper to print on. So vinyl sticker paper, photo paper, normal paper, cardstock paper and so on. Do you know of any good European (EU) paper manufacturers that sell these in high quality and don't break the bank at the same time?

Do any fediverse projects currently support social auth?

No, my parents married 5 years before I was born.

I use Fedora. I like that it's very up to date and that it doesn't change the GNOME defaults. It also has a big community and many resources to look into if anything goes wrong.

I think https://github.com/sigoden/dufs is exactly what you want.

I selfhost ezBookkeeping where I track all non-reoccurring transactions and a LibreOffice Calc sheet where I track all reoccurring transactions. The sheet I've been using for multiple years now and it works great because I can clearly see what amount of money I can spend every month on anything I want and still being able to pay everything I need. The selfhosted app I've only been using since the beginning of the year because I used to use ActualBudget which I had connected to my bank account to automatically fill it will all transactions I did but due to it being automatic and not manual like ezBookkeeping felt like I was loosing track of everything.

Since you have this printer, can you tell me what volume the ink tanks hold? This info seems impossible to find.

That helps, thanks.

I'm in the process of getting a new printer and since I recently (December 2024) switched to Linux it would be nice if it would be Linux compatible. So far I've decided on the Canon PIXMA G550 printer but I can't find anything about it's compatibility so I figured I would just ask here in the hopes someone might have the same printer or knows someone who has the same printer and can tell me if this printer works with Linux. If all else fails I could still use the printer with my tablet or phone using Canons app but using it with my desktop would be much more comfortable.

It's still an important distinction IMO

I've been doing some voice training by reading to my mum from a book (Cornelia Funke's "Drachenreiter" in German) and I've recorded me while reading 2 chapters each in these recordings:

https://files.catbox.moe/j0iejo.mp3

I just wanted some feedback from people who don't know me personally on how it sounds. If it sounds feminine or if you have some tips on how to improve maybe.

Can anyone recommend European brands for loupes (jewelers loupes) and precision scales (0.01g)?

So far I've found https://www.xtorm.de/collections/cables from the Netherlands and https://recable.eu/ from Germany. Do you know any additional ones?
