I don’t want a dual cab. I want a single cab with a 8’ truck bed. Aka a work truck

Another EV truck with a bed too small to haul plywood/drywall.. wtf it might as well not have a bed at all.
Before the fossil fuel shills can show up and say,
“we all need to reduce our carbon footprint so these companies will stop creating greenhouse gasses!”
Let me point out, that is a fossil fuel strategy:
Oil companies are the reason we haven’t already made the change to electric transportation and renewable energy decades ago.
It could have already happened if it wasn’t for these companies trying to prevent it.
The end user doesn’t care if their house is warmed by a gas furnace or an electric heat pump, so long as their house is warm and it’s affordable.
Those 57 companies are the ones that don’t want to change and they lobby, bribe, lie, cheat and steal to keep their hold on the market.
Those 57 companies are both the root cause of the problem and the easiest thing to change.
It’s easier to change 57 companies than it is to change 8 billion people.
Carter and Reagan didn’t have Russia, China and Iran spreading talking points to pressure the US to stop supporting Israel.
If your enemies are trying to pressuring you to do something, it’s normal to resist that pressure while you try to figure out what they are up to.
Rear end someone at 15mph and they would need the jaws of life to cut you out.
So your original statement is wrong:
To be clear, this was for white (Irish and Italians don't count) men, and many black, hispanic, and native families could not afford to live the American dream.
Because my Irish great grandfather very much lived the American dream. That is because this statement you made is also wrong:
America has always been built in inequality
The richest Americans had a tax rate of 91% in the 1960s. That number has plummeted since and income inequality has gotten to where it is today as a result.
My great grandfather came to America from Ireland and supported a family of 9 with a single income
Knowing that work trucks were more popular when they were available a decade or so ago.
And knowing that car manufacturers make more profit per truck when they have more add ons to charge extra for.
I would say I’m not in the minority and that the reason single cab work trucks with a full size bed are not available is because of greed.
