'member when we were able to self host servers of our games? I member. CoD4 was awesome because of that, later the pirated version of MW2 too. These games (the first MW and MW2) are still alive because of that.
Rob Schneider was an animal, then he was a woman, now Rob Schneider is a fly that mistakenly took a plane to London. Rob Schneider is going to find out that fighting for air space in the dirty streets of London is not an easy task.
The unmaintained repo has a link in the readme pointing to the best fork
Yeah but it's more complicated than that. Do you think the average user that for some reason uses Firefox will try to find out why his Google page isn't working? Last year Google was fined €2.5b due to unfair competition. This is not the first time, Google probably makes a lot of people switch doing these things. The top post of Lemmy is about Google turning itself into spyware and this just shows just how thats accurate.
This affects me in a personal level and show how much power social media gives to random people. Note that the girl didn't even had Instagram, she created one to respond to the fake allegations. She didn't had an affair, it was fake/made up screenshots. She was only 22 years old. Rest In Peace. Hopefully the page and owner get sentences as they played big part in the harassment (22mil followers page Choquei).
What is the equivalent for men? Asking for a friend
Nowadays Arch is pretty straight forward. You have gui installers like any other distro. I never broke my Arch install in 3+ years using it.
This would make they pay more for a lawsuit in a country that takes consumer protection seriously, lol. Samsung had to pay me 5k(35% to the lawyer) because they refused to deliver a fridge on my apartment. They delayed the delivery, had me hours on hold, insult and tried to fright me whenever they talked to me. The fridge was 4,5k and it got done within 10 months. So good luck to Mac Donald's.
Windows just rips off every plasma feature at this point, even kde devs make fun of it
How did big tech companies got like these? Bigger cut for owners? I remember when a person got a job in Microsoft, Google, etc, it meant that they were financial stable in a good job that didn't drain all of their energy. We need tech more than ever now. Is it because there are so many devs these days? AI? All these things all together?
+1 for steam
I used to pirate my games on linux, but it's harder than on Windows. Steam's gaming on linux experience is perfect, just download the game and hit Play.
