I was in the scene at the same time and me and my friends were always making fun of neofolk bands and their fans, because its such boring music and simply copying clothing styles of the 1940s, fitting to the boring mind of a nazi

This is completely unacceptable for the devs of software designed to bring people together.

Since you need an Digital ID to sign, given by your government, i can't think of many issues.

e: i just looked since it was a while since i signed - you need to give your Passport number to sign, or use eID.

ok, i didn't know that, but i never had a dog in my life. TIL, thanks!

yeah sure they are, i didn't want to put those 2 things on the same level! i just wanted to say that you can't cut them like you would with a dog's claw without hurting your cat, and if in doubt, at least let the vet show you how first.

I would not recommend that unless you know what you are doing. Unlike other animals, the claws of cats have living tissue inside, which means a cut too far from the tip is like cutting off a fingertip and pretty painful, just be forewarned.

e: thats also the reason why declawing is brutal and inhumane - there are a lot of nerve endings there too

especially that ~~Abbot~~ Ted Cruz, who brought this one up, voted against it in the end, which is pretty confusing for an european tbh

e: i mean that it's memeworthy lol

would start with 6.28

876k now - at this speed it will be done tomorrow, or at latest in 2 days!

this, plus what's important to not to use too much detergent and not just use them on 40°C the whole time, because thats a really good temperature for an incubator. Give them a 95°C load once in a while, that kills off whatever is trying to smell in there.

I am only critical that those models are in the hand of corporations who try to profit from it. Copyrights are mainly a tool to be wielded by the powerful: see Sony trying to disconnect ISP accounts en masse or media giants suing people into oblivion, Nintendo fucking over their fanbase again and again and so on.

The datasets should belong to an UN organisation like UNESCO, corporations/NGOs/people should be able to licence them to build their models (ev. with "community models" provided free for personal use), and the licence fees should be used to subsidize culture. This plus an UBI would make sure that artists don't have to starve, corporations can use them to try to make a profit, and everyone else can use them to create for their own or their communities use. Artists that don't want to go into the datasets have that right too, but also won't have access to that financial pool (this shouldn't be the only pool).

Fuck copyrights.

A Nobara Linux Desktop running KDE Plasma 6 with system stats using a vaporwave color scheme on the left, a drop-down terminal named Yakuake showing neofetch, a completely borderless browser window showing a Deezer web app on the center bottom, and weather and audio widgets on the right. The desktop background is animated with a wallpaper engine plugin, showing a cyberpunk city with the silhouettes of a few people rummaging through a giant heap of tech scraps, with one figure standing on top and looking into the bright city lights. Light fog is moving over the scene while it rains.

Seedbox: how to start? (lemmy.dbzer0.com)

Hi people! I have been pirating for myself for over 30 years now, and with the ever growing size of warez and the laughable upstream limit my ISP has, i have come to the point where it's not practical to maintain a 1:1 ratio for all torrents anymore - my active torrent list keeps growing beyond practical limits, and i'm someone who wants to keep sharing things for the people after me, esp. torrents with low amounts of seeds.

I'm pretty sure that i know more than i think i do, but i would be happy about a few pointers to get started with a seedbox. i have beginner linux skills, advanced user skills, and not shy of reading manuals on how to get things to work. i have not tinkered with docker much yet, but i'm willing to learn.

Edit: From what i've learned and seen i tend towards an dedicated server since i might want to host other services for myself too, so suggestions for what hoster to look at are welcome!

Hi, i didn't find anything using the search, so i just wanted to know if any issues are known causing those error messages, which need a few reloads to resolve; additionally, voting on an post often takes 2, sometimes 5 or more tries.

i already tried:

  • logged in/out
  • with my VPN(Mullvad, on by default) and without
  • Firefox / Vivaldi / Edge
  • wired / wireless

and before i get into the weeds with the abyssmal support of my ISP i wanted to know if any of you have encountered the same issues.
