Thanks for the detailed answer! And yeah, starting my own co-op or even non-profit is definitely a goal I strive for. Definitely going to be checking that video!

Didn't know that one, thanks for the recommendation!

Would that render kinetic weapons pretty much impracticable for a spaceship-to-spaceship war?

Hey there! So I'm currently studying CS & IT and I'd like to know more about how developers & computer nerds alike are reflecting the values of solarpunk into their work.

Are solarpunk values part of your thinking process when you decide which software you are going to be making (for personal projects for example), or which company you will be working at? Are they part of the production process (like which tools or technologies you're using)? How much? And, maybe in a broader sense, is hoping to work on projects aligned with solarpunk values realistic?

Hi! I'm currently building a hard sci-fi world and I was wondering about the idea of war. Because space is huge - really huge, and most ships probably won't interact with each other for years or centuries. But if two space ships or fleets were to meet on a new stellar system and declare war to each other, what could this look like? What weapons could they use?

Have you ever tackled the subject in one of your worlds? Or do you know a piece of media which did this?

I just found out that Project Hyperion, an interstellar generation spaceship design contest ended. There are so many great proposals that really go in depth, give it a read!
