Ich sehe die nächsten Debatten schon vor mir. "Warum kriege ich nichts vom Staat, aber der Flüchtling, der auch nicht arbeitet, bekommt 400€?". Die sPD macht fleißig mit beim Steigbügelhalten für die AfD. Ich hab langsam echt nen Hass auf diese komische Partei. Von der Chatkontrolle darf man gar nicht anfangen.

I think the only time I ever properly watched something while doing something else was when I had to do incredibly monotonous measurements in the lab, holding a little sensor to random positions on an object, for hours, so I watched LOL while doing that. Since both activities required less than half of my brain, it was fine.
Sometimes I watch YouTube videos while doing something else like playing a game that doesn't always require full attention, or editing photos. But only if there isn't much going on visually anyway and I'm mostly listening.
I would never watch a movie and do something else simultaneously. Movies are a main focus thing.
As someone living in a walkable city not owning a car, it solves about 79 problems rather than 19.

Yes. Every improvement is good. But I think it’s important not to forget, and to also remind people, that there are even better alternatives, and questioning something that people have "always" done is actually possible. Social values are constantly evolving, and in my opinion we should move towards de-normalizing hurting animals. They are sentient beings, and causing them suffering for our own entertainment should be discouraged.
Just sitting by the water and watching fish without harming them is a much less impactful recreational activity than hurting fish just to look at them, then throwing them back in the water. And it is not denying anyone's humanity, actually quite the opposite.
How about not putting any hooks into fish in the first place?

First of all: thank you for this really nice app. I had been looking for a good open source alternative to Sync for quite a while now and I think this might be it! Love how customizable it is.
One thing I'm currently missing is being able to see the type of post in the "compact" feed view. A picture post and a link to an article that has a preview image, for example, cannot be distinguished.
Sync has this really nice layout where there's a thumbnail on the left and then on the right it shows the content type. You can tap that button on the right to open the content (either show image in viewer mode or open link in browser).
Would make this app basically perfect for me if this could be implemented.
