But if you want to go that path ccna will help you far more than anything else CompTIA provides at the entry level. That being said I have outright quit some jobs, and while it's scary to be financially insecure, sometimes the jobs are just that much worse. These days though, if you have a bike or car you can just Uber/door dash for petty cash while applying to real jobs if you absolutely need to quit; and worse case scenario go by a day labor/temp staffing place for daily money.
