@dgerard I think that all depends on whether or not my curiosity is strong enough to overcome my sense that sending a message to a Mastodon admin team about why the writer who inadvertently got Elon Musk and Grimes to hook up is banned on my server would be too-online a thing to do, even for me. That whole DRM-the-web attestation thing Google proposed last year was eye opening. Sure, they had been evil for a while, but the fact that they knew they could start proposing stuff like that at all is just so bleak. In a sane world, that behaviour would instantly result in serious antitrust lawsuits.

@Amoeba_Girl @dgerard Sometimes I think there's a goldmine of comedy to be had laughing at these eugenics types having kids and slowly realizing they aren't rich like Musk and Grimes and have to care for these humans. Then I remember that isn't funny at all, it's extremely upsetting.
