Did they claim the video was unedited Sora output?

This is the article that I read at launch:

Has generative video’s problem with faces and hands been solved? Not quite. We still get glimpses of warped body parts. And text is still a problem (in another video, by the creative agency Native Foreign, we see a bike repair shop with the sign “Biycle Repaich”). But everything in “Air Head” is raw output from Sora. After editing together many different clips produced with the tool, Shy Kids did a bunch of post-processing to make the film look even better. They used visual effects tools to fix certain shots of the main character’s balloon face, for example.

The Vatican could start a side hustle marketing vanity websites to Virginia tourism.

A conspiratorial, passive-aggressive fool in the YC comments is not making any claims, just saying that this might be a protection racket.

Mildly interesting that the author runs a media relations company in SF. On the one hand, I am sympathetic to the general perspective of the original article.

On the other hand, that the same person is writing “hit pieces” and running a media relations company bears a certain resemblance to protection rackets of yore

He really has been. His rants on the new podcast “Better Offline” are worth a listen.

thank you. bookmarked.

“Balaji has the highest rate of output per minute of good new ideas of anybody I’ve ever met,” wrote Marc Andreessen.

10/10, no notes

I read it the same way, but he is quite pretentiousness.

I thought that litter was dead? (supposed to say ~~bitter~~ nitter but I'm keeping it.

I came here to write that, after listening to lo-fi Yudkowski, that I want to destroy my speakers lest they ever do that again.

In addition to being a wonderful article, as a bonus I learned the phrase l'esprit d'escalier (and various other forms from wikipedia) and found out that Mr. Andreesen has a small version of the snoopy in a blender sculpture in his yard, which is just amazing.

I have only ever seen his electric vehicle reviews and didn't know he did gadgets, but finally clicked this YouTube recommendation. He is so complimentary of the good stuff, like he's trying to be as fair as possible.

Was his review of the Fisker Ocean similarly unethical? Silly.
