I would say i never considered Debian seriously, but after learning a bit more about it the perspective of a highly stable / not buggy OS on which i can easily switch between DEs , and without snaps really tingles me.

That looks way more than a home server, it looks like something i would expect to see for a small business!

In place of snap OF COURSE.

I can state without any doubt that i had problems with 80% of the programs coming from snap..

You can also host deluge with the scheduler plugin on a raspberry and set your torrents to only download/seed at night!

Would definetely prefer to pay than being tracked...

But i also feel like the time is mature to produce a new type of web where nor ads, nor user payments are required, i think we'll get there some day..
