Yeah I'd be a bit shocked if you could dodge your way through the final boss of the DLC. There are some attacks I think need to be dodged, but they feel like the exception, not the rule.

They made it way more obvious in the most recent season. That's why user reviews are more mixed. It was finally obvious enough that they caught on.

So far we've gotten good single player games along with those online modes, including RDR2 after GTA5, so it's at least plausible that GTA6 will have good single player still.
Won't be playing it until it's on PC anyways, so I'll for sure have found out by then.
