Woah, I have no idea what you're talking about. "The gab one"? What gab one?

The better way to automate menial tasks is not to do them in the first place.

LUKS is full hard drive encryption. If you encrypt your entire hard drive with a yubi key, then lose the yubi key, and you have no backup, you're shit outta luck. I encrypted my hard drives with a USB drive in a similar fashion. Then made backups of the USB drive, so that the scenario I describe wouldn't happen. Hopefully. It's kind of like horcruxes. If somebody steals them all, I become mortal again. Actually, though, if somebody steals them all, I lose all of the data on the hard drive.

IDK, do people use yubi keys to do LUKS?

Now, though, people want a picture of the rock, and I'm like ...shit.

If you don't mind living without a camera, yes. I think I might be able to get the camera working, but it hasn't been a priority, because I never used my phone's camera that much even before I switched to the PPPro.

OHHHH, I want that pen. I noticed it the week after I got my Safari, and was like, "NOOOOOOOOOOO!"

It's an experiment I've been trying for about two weeks, now.
I am using whitespace to make written English easier to read.
I put one sentence per line.
Long sentences are broken into multiple lines
according to natural breaks in the sentences.
(I try to aim for an 80 column width.)
Indentation is used to signal the continuation of a sentence.
Basically, I am treating English like a programmer would treat code.
As an interesting and unexpected corollary,
the English is much easier to edit, and
    diffs are way cleaner.
(I'm editing this in an external dedicated text editor.)

You will find no argument here about the problems that arise when corporations are not required to pay for the garbage they produce.

However.

Optimising incandescent lightbulb efficiency is actually not easy to do. It is easy to make a lightbulb that lasts literally forever, if you run it cooler. But if you do that, your power efficiency will be total shit. (And your light will be uncomfortably red, but let's say that's less important for now.) You will waste a lot of money on your electricity bill. There will come a point when you will be wasting more money on electricity than the lightbulb is worth. This breakeven point is difficult to determine. It is a calculation that the average consumer shouldn't be burdened with.

Couldn't we keep civilisation and change how we spend our time?
