Socks serve a practical purpose when combined with shoes. They prevent rubbing (blisters) and they keep the skin cells and oils from your feet from the insides of your shoes.

Shoes serve a practical purpose in that they protect your feet from rocks, glass, and hot pavement. Did our ancestors need shoes? No. But humans have made our environments less friendly to bare feet

If you are young and attractive and the only other context you have for sex is porn the belief is understandable. Its emotionally immature view that I'm glad she grew out of AND decided to write an article about to help others.

this is a great tactic. Admitting that you don't know everything allows you to respectfully challenge a norm or assumption without looking like a know it all.

I encourage people to educate themselves on guns and what type and size gun is appropriate for what they want to do.
