that's about the official IRC bridge, but Heisenbridge is a third party that is still allowed. The only downside is you need to self-host Matrix and Heisenbridge, which is a no-go for me. I think I saw beeper promoting that they bridge to IRC but apparently they no longer do

didn't they have an IRC bridge (Heisenbridge) to libera.chat? That's the main reason why I put myself on the wait list and now when I open the app IRC is not supported...?
