Also, the very first time I've tried cooking game πŸ˜… But by sheere dumb luck it came out really soft and awesome:

Loads of onions, parsnip, carrots and celery root and half a bottle of good red wine. Simmered for three hours. Steamed pears with lingonberry, roasted asperagus and croquettes (not shown) for sides. Then some crème brûlée with freshly plucked strawberries and mint leaves and finally a chair to pass out in.

Wait, I've seen that movie. It ends with a bank heist gone terribly wrong. Better go looking for that ~~satelite dish~~ radio telescope in Cuba...

Very well said. Also, what about the sexual needs of people with disabilities? That's a real tabu in societies almost everywhere. There is a lot of good that can potentially come from this. But just like everything it's in the execution...

Nah, way too easy! Like the VW scandals 10ish years ago, cars that can sense when they are being tested will likely deliver expected results... Test them on the bench anyway and then compare that with real world testing results.

I'm trying used coffee grounds and some other stinky or dry stuff like lavender they (supposedly) don't like around the plants I can't cover up well. But the most effective strategy - by far - has been my weeding tool. I go around and simply split all slugs I see in half and do it every day and especially when it rains. Others around me are drowning in snails this spring - I have very little in comparison. Another thing I do is to collect all large snails (Weinbergschnecken) and put them out in strategic places where slugs lay their eggs. Snails eat their eggs. Or so the AI tells me πŸ˜…

My sympathies. I read your post and quickly ran outside into the rain to cover up my veggies with an old cold frame. Had put them into soil just hours ago but forgot the cover. So for what it's worth, you may have saved 20ish little cabbages, carrots and beets today :)
