I swear some days I see as many memes about the people posting memes as I see memes from those posters.

Pretty sure it's just meant to be an additional charge they can tack on once they figure out why you're not pregnant anymore.

They can't stop women from getting out-of-state abortions, but they can criminalize using Texas roads to get there, just like the feds can get you for misusing the postal service or an electronic device to commit fraud on top of the fact that you committed fraud in the first place.

It's pretty much all he does unless he finds an Obra Dinn-tier darling.

Except for Gollum, he was weirdly defensive of that for a game that pulled every AAA anti-consumer trick in the book without at least the decency to be bland.

Is it a joke though? Whole swaths of the internet legitimately have no ability to separate fiction from reality... really seems like this guy (and at least one other reply to him) is upset at Neil Newborn for things Astarion did.

If it's a joke, Poe's Law is in full effect, because I've met so many people who are actually like this.

I really don't have the desire to deal with this level of unhinge over carts, especially when most of it is self-contradictory, begging the question, and/or straight up incorrect.

If I was willing to meet you halfway with "just irresponsible, not bad" before, this response right here eliminated all that.

The guy implied that enjoying time alone at home is wrong. Introverts enjoy time alone at home. I didn't say introverts only enjoy time alone at home, and I'm not doing this thing where I need a dozen disclaimers proving I really do know what the words I used mean every time I want to make a one-line quip.

Also why are y'all assuming she moved to NYC on purpose? Can no one just be from there originally and move from a roommate arrangement to a studio? Please lol

Edit: OP downvoted everyone who disagreed with him.

Sigh. Please OP, we're not doing that here. Downvotes should be reserved for trolls and the counterproductive. This comment with its snappy "kick the puppy that is your opinion" is not the most productive, but there are downvotes from OP on way more innocuous things, even one comment that agrees reddit is dying but in a different way than the linked article envisions.

Please leave that behavior on reddit.

(And yes, I am up to date with the COVID vaccines)

This doesn't really seem to matter with all the new mutations that are loose right now. The spouse and I are up to date as well, but we still caught it ~3 weeks ago after avoiding it for 3.5 years. We healed up fine, but it sure did suck. Looking forward to updated boosters.

Seems like everyone I know around the world (thanks, internet) is getting it right now, even if they've been taking things seriously.

If the mods admit that they would have removed the posts had they seen them (implied by the "we can't see everything" response) - yet they're not open to being alerted to problem posts (implied by the "checkmate" sass) - how can they fairly expect users not to be frustrated by the unequal application of the rules?

The correct mod response here would have been "we understand you disagree, but we don't feel the posts you linked violate the rules" or "you're right, we missed those too," not "we didn't see those but also we're banning you for telling us about them."

They breed the hostile environment they complain so much about, and the cycle continues.

Was funnier without the whole fig circle tbh

Disinterest is the default position until something sparks interest. Asking why I'm not interested is, with respect, a nonsense question that can only have one answer: because I haven't seen anything about it that sparks my interest. "It folds" is not enough to make me feel any desire to own one; I don't care that it folds. I don't need it to fold. To me, this is like installing a microwave in my vacuum cleaner. Like, sure, now my vacuum cleaner objectively does more stuff and "is better," but that's not exactly a feature I'm looking for in a vacuum cleaner, and size-changing is not a feature I'm looking for in a phone.

If you want one, you should get one. I'm glad the option exists so that people for whom "it folds" is enough to spark interest can be happy and have neat toys.

Gaming? Most of them are p2w or microtransaction garbage

And? You may not like them, but there's clearly an audience.

Don't buy a new phone if you don't want one, but why be so mad that other people have reasons you don't?
