I believe Tubular is just descendent of "newpipe sponsorblock". I believe they are from the same developer who discontinued previous project.

Another question. Why does this post have so many down votes? I have some ideas but I am not sure which is the real reason:

  1. Asking about generalization could be considered unpopular.
  2. Are communists down voting me?
  3. Badly written post. (I mean English is not my first language and I do believe lemmy needs more content and I am trying to go out of my comfort zone and be more active user)
  4. This topic is just unpopular?

In other thread I got vibe that majority of Lemmy users support communism and CCP. Is support for Russia/Putin? Or have I just stumble in a post dominated by those people.

I also read a phrase "lemmy.ml" user. Is lemmy.ml instance considered communist?

I understand there will be more left leaning users in Lemmy compared to Reddit. But I expected moderate left and not radical communist left.

What is your opinion on that?

I am bald with a beard and glasses. So everyone thinks I am their friend with the same properties and completely different face.

Mobile networks are awful and are very easy to spy on.

But the video is worth every minute.

Competitor with no content, users is not a competitor. Youtube should be forced to share content they do not own. Just for the sake of competition.

Are we angry?

Maybe he is just feeding your arguments to AI and you argue with AI instead of him. 😁

But yes. As others have stated, you argue opinions. Not facts. And neither of you is really correct. You value different things. For example he values progress more than authors copyrights. And I find his points you mentioned valid. As are yours.

I however believe, you can agree on any topic with a "smart/sane enough" person with "enough time/motivation" and "similar enough values" as you if you are also such a person.

In that case one or the other will change his mind.

Those conditions are rarely met and the most important part is you also have to be open to changing your mind.

Realists are just pessimists.

You should be an optimist even if you are faking it. To lift others up.

I could not agree more about my wife! She is totally awesome and I really love spending time with her. We are constantly goofing arround. I had a crush on her since we have been 14 and started dating. Now 10 years together we are married and got our first kid. I could not be happier.

She is just changing diapers right now and I am thinking how lucky I am to have her.

I also believe actively trying to have positive/wholesome view on a world helps a lot.

This is why I really like this community.

I just became dad last month. So from more experienced fathers: What are best ways to express love to your family?

One should not use boolean just because variable has only two states.

I believe when you use boolean when enum should be used is called "boolean blindness".

Eg: isFemale instead of enum Sex {MALE;FEMALE} It also gives you an option to simply extend code if requirements change and there are more than two options.

Well thank you! I can see there is much more to it than just "coloring your face to match skin tone of character you are trying to represent". The coloring itself has been historically used as a racist act.

So I get it now. My question now reads as "What is wrong with swastika - old symbol for sun" or something like that.
