I don't need an excuse to drink, but I sure am given plenty of reasons every day I exist in the shitter multiverse.

The chance of divorce is actually closer to 25% these days! Also, the original 50% figure was heavily skewed by people who had divorced previously, just FYI.

Unfortunately, the same thing happens when you turn it all the way up

This is oddly controversial, but an even more satiating method is to consume more protein. If you hit your goal body weight (lbs) in grams of protein, you won't be reaching for that end of day snack.

Note drinking the protein instead of eating it doesn't work nearly as well for this.

Yes, as long as that place is only accessible by a physical passkey (such as a Yubikey). The risk is miniscule and the convenience is 100% worth it.

The real question is whether this was put up on April 2 or is a really old sign from Feb 4. ISO 8601 saves lives people, but probably not as many as proper lock out/tag out procedures.

From another tall guy, how was it? Obviously not worth the price, but is it absolutely not worth the price or just very not worth the price?

Canada is debatably worse than the US when it comes to tipping. In the US, wait staff are paid less than minimum wage so it makes sense to tip them (even though the system should change),, but in Canada they is no such exception and the minimum prompt is 18%.

Also, the other day Subway prompted me to tip...

When that becomes widespread, photos will be generateable for literally everyone, not just minors but every person with photos online. It will be a societal shift; images will be assumed to be AI generated, making any guilt or shame about a nude photo existing obselete.

For those who are dumb like I am, the fine is one hundred thousand per day and not one hundred per day (the decimal threw me off)

Another way to look at it is alcohols impact on sleep, which is vital to recover and growth. According to Dr. Matthew Walker (a sleep scientist and author of the popular book Sleep), even one drink of alcohol can interrupt healthy sleep patterns. Alcohol gives a sedation like effect instead of allowing for proper sleep cycles.

The 3 "M"s are not numerical, but indicate characters. For example 01 Jan 2023.
