I was thinking this is actually thinner than sock yarn. Looks very similar to the lacy doilies that my grandmothers made of something more like 0 or 1. The connecting bits are actually braided or single crochet…so from a distance it looks like thicker yarn than it is. Either way…I love this and kinda want one now.

Good point. Though I haven’t had any cross platform issues myself with Switch. I use realms to play with a friend that uses Xbox.

The best solution I have seen to this was the guy I worked with, sick of people shaking the doors repeatedly while we were redoing signage after close exclaimed at some door shakers: “what the fuck you doing bro?!” Those of us in the store lost it and the customers walked away embarrassed. From your comment, I can tell you have not had a job that works with the general population directly like retail. You lose patience pretty quickly with others trying to complain to get their way, push boundaries, and sometimes just be assholes. You should try it sometime. It is quite enlightening.

Darning is a method of mending socks. It is a nerdy pun. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Darning

A lot of what the person interviewed is saying is very tone deaf. Not everyone has the problem of not being “right sized” in how they live…a lot of folks are barely scraping by and have no other option but to tap into retirement to do things like…pay medical bills, not lose their dwelling, or simply make it through a hard time. Are there folks living above their means? Sure! But I would say the vast amount of people cashing in retirement funds early are not those people.

I once had a loaner from a dealer that was a Dodge Caliber. Ugly as sin and the transmission was definitely on its way out. That car was just a struggle. It was a reminder why I will never buy a Chrysler product.

While this is true…ADHD tends to override what logic deems true. The emotional regulation just isn’t there enough to be peachy and positive all the time especially when our society values productivity, reliability, timeliness, and organization…which are difficult for those with ADHD. The guilt is so strong that sometimes it is debilitating. While your intent may be to be kind and helpful…in this community it reads as a bit insensitive.

As someone who knows someone who was killed as a pedestrian crossing the road…it is not your fault. Don’t forget that fact. Trauma does weird things to our brains even without head injury. Don’t feel guilty about pursuing a lawsuit either. It was the other person’s responsibility to be watchful and follow traffic laws…and they failed. Repercussions are normal in such circumstances even if it is an honest mistake. Hope that you don’t feel any more pain or have more unseen issues. Sometimes these things take time to surface. If you feel unexplainably sleepy at any point, don’t hesitate to see a doctor. Sometimes head trauma isn’t obvious. Wish you the best and hope you recover quickly and thoroughly.

I was so broken in my early 20’s. I had been consistently struggling with college, did not understand myself, and just genuinely felt alone. It wasn’t until my 30’s and getting into a psychology class that I started piecing together that I have ADHD (officially diagnosed now), a sleep disorder that makes me tired unexpectedly and intensely, and just generally started to find who I was as a person. It took years of working with a psychiatrist and psychologist (therapist) to start unraveling years of negative self talk and also work through some religious trauma.

The one point I remember is I was thinking just how easy it would be to drive off a bridge…but I liked my car too much to do it. Those were rough times, but I made it through and haven’t been that low since.

1998 US with fender lace golds in neck and middle…Seymour Duncan of some sort in the bridge. Plays and sounds a dream! Color is Plum Purple Metallic. Here it is next to my Jazzmaster.

Stardew Valley. He keeps adding things before I finish what was already released.

Reheating fried food in the air fryer changed how I view leftovers. Also, love roasted veggies or air fryer whole chicken. I use my air fryer a lot more than I thought I would.

New synth…JD-XI (i.imgur.com)

Found a great deal at a used gear shop…actually a new unit open box. Digging the workflow and vibe. Already recorded a few tracks with it!

I haven’t touched my Tele or Les Paul since I got this. So versatile and sexy to boot!

New Gear Day (i.imgur.com)

Upgraded from a Squier. Lucked out with a used AC4 combo too. It is just a MIM but perfect for me. Plays well, very sweet Tele tone, and hopefully inspires me to get past the basic skills I have at the moment on guitar.

Looks like an interesting idea. I like the daisy chain option. Analog, portable, and $500. Not bad. Curious what you all think?

2

Picked up this little guy last week and have already cleared the presets and started making my own. Any tips or fun stories about Microfreaks?

Look into backpacking meals. They keep forever practically and simply require heat and water most times to prepare.

I’ve used this on the Switch and it is pretty neat. It would be pretty awesome if the VR implementation is good enough!

1

Wonder how this idea will be long term? Losing come cables would be awfully convenient for those who perform or have smaller spaces especially.

2

Which one? For the sake of theoretical questions …let’s assume you could have any synth…not just what you already own.

1

Sounds like they are goners. Hope they didn’t have your favorite plug-in or at least you have the installer still!

Oh shiny new FM synths! Who has an original opsix? I hear good things.
