You must be in the wrong subs. I see nothing about Reddit except post like this 😬😬

Lemmy and kbin in general just by themselves are amazing. So different compared to Reddit. Redditors on some subs think they are elites. This place is friendly. I haven’t been ask through lemmy yet but I really like it

You realize that accepting meta/threads terms you give them permission to sell your data right? They will sell it to advertisers. They help the fbi and others track your every step. Also on fediverse you info is stored locally if the server goes down you don’t have to worry about your info being accessed remotely. I think I saw something where they said that lemmy and kbin store your data for three days then it gets auto deleted. If I was a large instance I would block meta also. Everything meta touched dies!

I was a mod on Reddit and loved it I’m gone now , created the subs here on lemmy and I want to go back to being a regular user. Anyway to abandon the community or give it up for adoption? I’ve already stickied mod request!

I left the moment the blackout started. After u/spez AMA and the verge article I knew I was done. I’ve got the front page 5x in 6 years 359k karma. It’s hard not checking Reddit but I got to move past it

Yes weird. When I create a new community or sub I post like 6x a day to bring people so they subscribe. Only thing I can think of is people make the community as a place holder. So when people come and post they will be the moderator!

To stop talking about Reddit. Reddit is dead to me!

Came over from the first reddit migration during the blackout. Remember using this App and was like something is up. Now it works like a charm. Everything about this app is smooth

Thanks

I actually started on lemmy.ml but it was always having issues so I went to lemmy.world and had better luck. Not saying lemmy.ml is bad I’m just saying it wasn’t working when I tried!

Been thinking lately. I used rif for reddit and I would get new post and I would reply upvote do whatever and then go about my business. I would check into reddit once in a while to tidy things up and go about my business. That wasn't fair to people that like my sub and depended on content and moderation. I'm starting to realize that I'm checking lemmy, kbin and mastodon off and on also and I think that is the way I will be browsing from now on. so I won't be able to keep this community so its up for adoption. shoot me a pm and I will add you so I can step down.

Thanks

I hope Reddit learns from there mistakes but probably not they are for the bottom dollar and will listen to investors before they listen to the community that made them who they are today . All it costed us was our time and volunteering. RIP Reddit
