The German left is probably as broken and coopted as in the US. Most didn't even care when a court essentially declared anti-capitalism of any kind unconstitutional by pointing to the constitutions enshrining of property rights.

I think about that a lot. Both the redefinition of fascism to mean the specific policies and behaviours of the Nazi party, and the fact that the EU successfully achieved quietly and without much resistance what the Nazis attempted loudly and brashly.

The term red fash specifically has absolutely no meaning beyond telling us that the speaker has no interest in understanding political ideology. It's kind of like tankie but more dumb.

Schellenberger is such a clueless opportunist that he can't possibly understand. It's incredibly ironic when you look at the various things he's argued for in the past as well.
