Yeah same. Water in a pan begins to sound like it's going to boil soon pretty much as soon as it's turned on.

Those that prefer gas over induction must have had some crappy induction hob to compare to.

From the article

Disable Gemini on Android

Do not allow Gemini to have access to your apps like WhatsApp by disabling Gemini’s app connections.

Disable the Gemini app

Go to Settings > Apps

Disable Gemini app

This disables Gemini completely. If you only want to stop Gemini from accessing other apps on your phone, you can take the following steps.

Steps to disable Gemini app connections:

Open the Gemini app from your Android device

Click on your profile in the top right corner

Open Apps

Click to toggle off each app extension

If you’d like to use Gemini but without it storing your prompts in My Activity and using it to “provide, improve, develop, and personalize” Google products and AI models, you will need to go to your Android settings and turn off Gemini Apps Activity. Even with this setting turned off, it’s important to note that Google will still store your activity with Gemini for up to 72 hours. According to Google, it implements this temporary storage of your data for security, safety, and user feedback.

Steps to turn off Gemini App Activity:

Open the Gemini app from your Android device

Click on your profile in the top right corner

Go to Gemini Apps Activity

Here you can turn the activity off

Deinstall Gemini

Alternatively, you can uninstall Gemini from your Android using dev tools on a desktop PC. To deinstall Gemini (or previously Bard), the ID is: com.google.android.apps.bard

Any of these types of OS that support more than a handful of devices?

Thank you for the link. Good read

If Oasis is beyond your line for what is allowed to be called music then your music choices must be small indeed.

The argument there is if a game is left online with no studio to care for it then they believe they would be liable for community content.

I don't think it applies to offline games at all.

Yes and yes.

However I don't use these solutions for mobiles. I use standard wireguard for that

There are loads of alternatives now so it's a good time to have a look.

I've setup netmaker at home, and netbird at work They are both good solutions.

I think if I had to redo home I would swap to netbird. Both of these are fully self hosted.

Neither are as easy to setup as tailscale, but once you get over that hurdle it's fine.

We are getting to the point where llm are used to expand on a topic and fill out an article and then another llm provides an inaccurate tldr summary. What a world to live in. 🤢

Having issues with outbound federation, using this as a test

Another from my archive of cat pictures/videos shared with my dauighter over the years.

Are these legit? We don't host the community that they are referring to, so I don't understand what good it does to request it.

3840x1080 at 60%?

1920x1080 not in the list?

I'd of expected that to be the most popular.
