Vaccine and hygene, sure. But pasteurization is not something that prevents an extinction, at least not currently. It prevents unnecessary death and illness for many.

We can take milk for example. If everyone drank unpasteurized milk, most people would be fine. But every now and then, you'd get nasty e-coli outbreaks here and there. Most would survive it after a really really shitty time, but some would die. This is really why some people are lead to believe pasteurization is unnecessary, because you don't realize how important it actually is through anecdotes - you need statistics.

But of course, skepticism towards health science in general is a huge problem and most antipasteurizationers are antivaxxers as well.

It's always black and white and clear who's the good guy and who's the bad guy, right?

Sad people can't think a nation can be the lesser evil in one war and the greater evil in another war...

Nope, politicians are not military targets. And that makes sense. Nobody would ever talk and try to settle things diplomatically if they could be legally assassinated while doing so.

Also, you can't have a Nuremberg-style trial with the responsible people if you kill them. The military are following orders and doing what they are told (well, hopefully). The politicians are the ones with the highest responsibility for an invading army. An army serving the state won't invade unless politicians tell them to.

Billionaires? Sure. Millionaires though... Someone getting their company successful through a good idea, hard work and a great ton of luck can become a millionaire. People with a million € or $ are not the main problem really. There will always be richer and poorer people. The problem is that we have people with 1000+ million, and that these people are yet getting even richer by simply just having that wealth. The difference between a million and a billion is enourmous.

I think we're seeing the same reaction as when Russia invaded Georgia in 2008. Basically "oh no this is not okay. anyway...".

Might just be that those three cars have legitimate reasons to be driving. Like, it could be a carpenter's or electrician's van on the way to a job site in the city.

Fair, but this is kind of a "not all men!!" thing to point out. The vast majority of sex workers are women, the vast majority of people being victims to sex trafficking are women. The vast majority of people paying for sex are men. Just face it.

So, to clarify. Sweden has for a very long time a system where buying sex is illegal but selling sex is legal. This is to make sure the man buying is considered criminal and the woman selling a victim. This new ban is just a way to keep it that way online as well.

What becomes illegal is paying for custom personalized performances (because a man can say "I'll give you $1000 if you stick this painful thing up your ass", which can be a difficult request to deny if you are poor), but selling prerecorded stuff will not be banned.

Stalin is literally the closest thing we have to Adolf Hitler that isn't Adolf Hitler. You realize Stalin did mass-scale ethnic cleansing? You also realize Stalin was ALLIED with the Nazis in the beginning?

Av alla kollektivtrafikslag att göra det på. Hoppas du bajsar på dig.

Lars Wilderäng is a Swedish author and blogger. Quick overview: his topics generally revolve around defence policies (Russia bad, moar defence), economics (low interest rates bad, housing market speculation bad) and since the war started, the war in Ukraine (send Ukraine moar weapons). He hates Elon Musk but loves his Tesla. He hates ICE cars.

He's unfortunately one of the "EVs will solve everything" people, which annoys me greatly, but today I saw a small car-related comment on his blog that actually made me laugh.

Oh and sorry for the misspelled "cyclists".

Ja.

I thought it would stop working 1st of July?
