I will believe that, when I see that.

I live in New Mexico, when out hiking with my dogs I wear a light long sleeved shirt, long pants (I have already survived one rattlesnake bite, I am not up for another), and a wide brimmed hat.

If you are talking about historical movies, it was also cooler back then. The high for June 1895 was 82f/28c July it was 84f/29c, and August was 83f/28c. And in New Mexico our nights are typically 30f lower than our days, and a cowboy back then would have one set of clothes.

Also as mentioned, the sun here is brutal. You have to keep covered or risk sunburn. We also have mesquite with its thorns.

Hopefully it has success at breaking us from our failed two party system, while at the same time the party itself fails (and costs him lot of money in the process).

Etymology

heinä (“hay”) +‎ kuu (“month”); haymaking often takes place in July. Compare Estonian heinakuu.

Pronunciation

  • IPA(key): /ˈhei̯næˌkuː/, [ˈhe̞i̯næˌkuː]
  • Rhymes: -uː
  • Syllabification(key): hei‧nä‧kuu
  • Hyphenation(key): heinä‧kuu

Noun

previous: kesäkuu
next: elokuu

heinäkuu

  1. July (month)

Usage notes

“in July” is expressed with the inessive case (heinäkuussa). When the day is specified, the partitive case is used (e.g. 1. heinäkuuta), but the genitive is also possible in a structure like heinäkuun 1. päivä.

You know those pressure washer videos where they clean sidewalks? Like that, but it is your poop shoot being cleaned.

I thought it was the protein that gave milk its good bubbles.

I replaced the toilet paper with a bidet, no more dust.

And block those you do not want to see if you use all.

I really wish lemmy had a mute option in addition to block. There are both users and communities I do not want to see posts from, but if I see comments (from users) and visit certain communities that is okay.

Some users seem to post every single news article they happen upon, most time I think without reading any of them. I tend to avoid all of their posts, a mute button would be fantastic.

All of the soda bread recipes I have tried end up with an partially raw interior and/or a burnt crust. Looking for something that works.

It looks like the time is close to harvesting my hibiscus. Anyone have tips? Do you dry yours or use it fresh? I currently only have two blooms open, with 4 more buds.
