I told you how arguing about this with enthusiasts who don't know what the fuck they're talking about has effected me, and you're still trying to tell me how your cool toy is actually magic tho.

You're "not all men"ing me about my problem with people who "not all men" about their fucking favorite toy. Not even the first in this thread to do it.

That's like three layers of the oblivious piece of shit version of, like, reverse FLN recursion; a kind of active anti-consciousness.

Anarchism has always existed. It's kind of the default for hunter gatherers. We would probably have different popular flavors.

That's a very very simplified view of how they resolved slavery and gender issues in the french revolution. They wobbled, slipped forward, slipped back. And with the long communication times to colonies it got weird.

Im aware of the problems with the guillotine and the entire hot mess the first french revolution, where people with barely any concept of what freedom even is suddenly had the reins of power and fucked up basically everything, because how could they not, even if they did trust each other (they didn't) but the thing they were pushing out was such a shit show the fuckups barely counted and they racked up an impressive string of wins.

Things did in fact happen the way they did.

Yeah, its my fault the candidate was bad.

No it's unjustified sanctimony alternating with "how could this possibly gave happened!?" On a loop forever.

Or the people who kept us from getting anyone who could actually rally enough people to fight fascism before it got this far by standing behind the senile old guy nobody liked who proved for four years he wasn't gonna stop shit, til he literally shat his pants on stage, then gave us his appointed second, who kept all the same policies and was personally a cop.

Just fuck them all, whole country is a write-off.

To be fair, i did that, but i was aiming for a witchy mysterious throw-them-in-the-oven sorta way, and dropped that aspiration just about the second i learned the only people who kidnap children nowadays are pedophiles.

It's just not the right cultural moment for reclaiming that.

Please feel free to prove there's a single ice agent that's not a pedophile. Edit: then maybe i can start on my childhood dream of being a terrible witch who throws kids in my oven and/or cauldron.

What regulation or law

Id guess the 'glock vs your family if you breathe a fucking word of this' ruling

Again, its not even the technology, its the typical advocate of it. Its the fuckers who defend it as everything it's not, against all evidence.

I'm aware it can be a neat little toy. It even has niche uses in a lab. Not worth the perfect sociological attack vector it seems to be. Trying to convince that it's not your friend, doesn't love you, and isn't making art, and the kind of pushback i get from that, is the real black pill here.

Im glad speech is so free.

To be fair, the typical defenses of that technology are the most maddeningly empty headed shit I've ever read, including conversations with real life fascists and work with people deep into senility.

Listening to enough of them has genuinely given me a substantial vein of anti human 'most of this is just unrefrigerated meat, there is no spark of intellect, no consviousness, no beauty to be found here' type thought.

I wouldn't go into '/stable diffusion fruit' to throw a fit about it, but my first instinct when someone says that tech is good is just straight up assuming, whether its on silicon or meat; the thing im talking to is not a person in any way that matters to me.

Im occasionally wrong, and have to adjust course, but it has become an unsettling oft confirmed default which i very much resent.

I just really want to emphasize here:

this technology is often defended with a stupidity so profound and so stubborn that it has broken the last shreds of my love for humanity, a love for humanity that survived being thrown away onto the street like trash as a child, no small amount of rape abuse life unhoused and tending to those who had suffered so much worse than I. In its place that stupidity has awakened a creeping suspicion that there never was such a thing as 'humanity', and I'm utterly alone in a howling void.

'Plz step on snake daddy, step on snek so gud!’
