I guess everything relies on how you say the things you want to say and in the truthfulness of the statement. I don't use reddit anymore because I'm trying to get away of the Dead Internet, thought lemmy was a good alternative but no. I prefer going to forums to see what people say and to ask for help/opinions.

I love mpd, I was a longtime ncmpcpp user, the only thing I didn't like was no synced lyrics, then I discovered rmpc and it's game over, totally customizable, fast and has all the features to compete even with gui clients
